Succulent filled garden party wedding – with gold accents and a nursery backdrop!

The Wedding Details:

If you know me, you know I live for smaller weddings!! Honestly I could go off for hours about all the reasons I love them…..but for now let’s focus on Katie and Megan’s super sweet + thoughtful intimate wedding.

When you think about your wedding design - the most important thing to consider is your venue! K+M wanted something simple, they preferred succulents to cut flowers, they wanted an outdoor space, and they wanted it to feel like a casual evening strolling through a garden. Enter one of my favorite places - Rockledge Gardens! A full time plant shop and nursery that has a dedicated events space; what’s not to love?

The color palette was lots of neutral greens, mossy shades, and some pops of pastel pinks/purples. We incorporated teal napkins for a fun pop of color and lots of gold accents! Everything tied together so beautifully, and I loved how we really let those golds play off all the lush green vibes the garden has to offer.

Keeping with the laid back atmosphere, instead of a traditional buffet dinner the couple went with a food truck from local restaurant 4th Street Fillin Station. Guests were able to go up to the truck, place an order from a preset menu, and take their meals back to their tables. Food trucks can make your dinner a little slower, but for smaller weddings I think they’re seriously so fun!

Enough from me, I know yall are ready to see some wedding pics! A quick shoutout to the vendors who put this wedding together:
