Bright + Boho Tropical Elopement – Styled Shoot

Coming from working at an event venue, I’ve seen my share of styled shoots; but this one was special. It’s the first shoot I designed for, and as Alexis Jean Events. I’m super excited to share it with you! When it came for inspiration – I have been obsessed with all the gorgeous and intimate picnic celebrations I’ve been seeings lately; so combine that with my love of smaller weddings + we’ve got this romantic, bright + tropical dreamy elopement.

Moment of appreciate for the amazing team who helped me bring this magic to life! I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but having the right team of vendors means having an amazing, beautiful, flawless, and stress free wedding day. I won’t bore you with all the reasons here, but just take this gorgeous elopement for some proof.

Harbor Stay is a breathtaking property, located on the water in the heart of Eau Gallie. The property is built on a large seawall that gives their outdoor deck this beautiful view looking out from the river into the ocean. It was honestly the perfect space for this shoot, and Winship Photography just captured every single detail perfectly! Our ceremony was set up under a large banyan tree on this lush green lawn.

For our picnic reception we set up on Harbor Stay’s gorgeous waterfront, wrap-around, porch. The picnic tables, accents, and florals made for a picture perfect tablescape. The goal here was to have the food serve as the centerpiece of the table; and it was almost too pretty to eat!

We just had to celebrate this beautiful elopement the best way we knew how – cake + champagne! We also used our cake station as this sweet little portrait spot. Pro tip – think up some pretty, out of the way, areas for portraits with your partner! You’ll cherish that alone time with your hunny!
