Tropical Boho Wedding with Hints of Citrus

Chelsea and Brandon waited years for their wedding day and it was an honor to see it through to the end with them! C + B wanted to bring all the old Florida vibes for their wedding at Field Manor; an old citrus grove with a historic home turned museum on the Indian River in Merritt Island. The colors were a dream for me – lots of peach, orange, sage green, and citrus throughout!

There were a couple first looks to kick off the day. Personally, I love including a first look! You can do them with your partner, bridal party, parents, flower girls & ring bearers; even with your pups! I mean how could you not want to include a first look – just look at how precious these are.

Most of the guests were from out of state so Chelsea focused on including some classic Florida style for her decor. There was lots of fresh citrus, bright colors, and an overall relaxing atmosphere for the big day. C + B eloped after covid pushed their wedding back a year – so they focused more on creating a wonderful celebration & less on the traditional wedding activities; there was no cutting of the cake or tossing of a bouquet and it lead to extra time on the dance floor!

It wouldn’t be a Florida themed wedding with a little afternoon rain – can you believe that it poured for twenty or so minutes right after ceremony ended? It all worked out in the end though; the rain brought a beautiful sunset! After sunset it was just lovely night filled with lots of dancing, smiles, and of course love! Congratulations Chelsea & Brandon – thank you for including AJE in your wedding day!
